AI-Run, Human-Governed Reliability
Multi-Persona Marketing Deck
Agenda
- The Problem (all audiences)
- CFO Track — Financial Predictability
- CTO Track — Engineering Leverage
- CSO Track — Sovereignty & Risk
- Go-to-Market Plan — Open Source + Marketplace
The Problem
- Alert fatigue: SRE teams manage 50+ services, drowning in noise.
- High MTTR: Manual log/metric correlation slows every incident.
- Rigid automation: Deterministic runbooks break on novel failures and lock you into a vendor's ecosystem.
- The frontier-model tax: AI-ops built on GPT-4-class APIs means unpredictable cost and sensitive telemetry leaving your perimeter.
CFO Track
Financial Predictability in the AI Era
CFO: The Cost of Reliability Today
- Human capital: Engineering/SRE time spent firefighting instead of building product — a direct opportunity cost.
- SLA penalties: Downtime hits revenue and retention.
- Tooling sprawl: Per-host / per-metric pricing scales unpredictably as you grow.
CFO: Opex vs. Inventory Framing
- Legacy & proprietary AI: Scales with your data volume — the more you monitor, the more you pay.
- Warble: Scales with inference tokens — a knob you control and budget, not one a vendor sets for you.
CFO: The Numbers
- 77% MTTR reduction in modeled internal pilots.
- 99.6% cost reduction in AI-ops spend vs. frontier-model APIs.
- Incident memory becomes a durable, customer-owned asset — lowers onboarding cost and turnover risk.
Ask: Run the ROI & Fitment Calculator against your current tooling spend.
CTO Track
The AI Transformation in Operations
CTO: The Reliability Crisis
- Complexity (K8s, microservices, multi-cloud) outpaces manual correlation.
- Alert fatigue drives SRE burnout and turnover.
- Deterministic auto-remediation fails on novel failure modes and hard-codes you into one vendor's runbook format.
CTO: The Autonomous Ops Loop
Observe → Reason → Act → Learn
- Observe: Native ingestion of telemetry, logs, and traces.
- Reason: Ops-tuned LLM hypothesizes root cause.
- Act: Proposes and executes remediation, gated by human approval.
- Learn: Builds incident memory specific to your architecture.
CTO: The Open-Core Ladder
- Frakma / Avirka (OSS) — self-host, fully open, zero lock-in.
- Warble Cloud — managed platform, faster time to value.
- Phronix (Premium) — enterprise SLAs, indemnification, private fine-tunes.
Ask: Design partnership — pilot on a non-production Kubernetes cluster.
CSO Track
Sovereignty, Risk & Trust
CSO: Why Frontier-Model AI-Ops Is a Risk
- Sending logs, traces, and infra state to a third-party API is a data exfiltration surface you don't control.
- Frontier vendors set retention, training-use, and jurisdiction terms — often unacceptable for regulated or air-gapped environments.
- Closed-weight models can't be independently audited for behavior or bias in remediation decisions.
CSO: How Warble Reduces Exposure
- Avirka is Apache 2.0 — auditable source and weights, no black box.
- Runs on a single H100, fully air-gapped: telemetry and reasoning never leave your environment.
- Human-gated action: every remediation requires explicit approval — no autonomous write access by default.
- Open-core model means no vendor can unilaterally change terms on code you already run.
CSO: Governance & Compliance Posture
- Self-hosted deployment supports data residency and sovereignty requirements out of the box.
- Incident memory stays inside your security boundary — no third-party retention of operational history.
- Commercial tier (Phronix / Warble Cloud) adds SLAs, indemnification, and audit support for regulated customers who need it.
Ask: Security review of Avirka's source + threat model before a design partnership.
Go-to-Market Plan
Open Source (Linux/CNCF-style) + Marketplace Distribution
GTM Pillar 1 — Open Source, Linux-Foundation Playbook
- License the OSS core (Avirka + Frakma) under Apache 2.0 — the same license class as Kubernetes, Kafka, and most CNCF projects.
- Publish weights and code to GitHub and Hugging Face under the
avirka/frakmaorgs; treat these as the primary trust-building surface, not the sales surface. - Decision: we are pursuing the CNCF Sandbox path. Aligns Warble with the same governance and neutrality model that made Kubernetes, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry defaults in enterprise infra. Tracked in #29.
- Native integrations with the existing CNCF ecosystem (Prometheus, OTel, Kubernetes) so adoption requires no rip-and-replace.
- Community motion: Discord/forum, Hacker News / r/LocalLLaMA / r/kubernetes seed launches, CLA-gated contributions to keep the core commercially clean.
GTM Pillar 2 — Warble Marketplace (warblecloud.xyz)
Domain secured: warblecloud.xyz, deployed on Railway.
- Marketplace site — the "app store" layer on top of the OSS core: curated remediation playbooks + advisory listings. Tracked in #30.
- Advisory marketplace, pay-as-you-go — fixed-price "small win" engagements (pilot setup, playbook authoring, incident-memory migration) and per-download/per-execution remediation playbooks — no subscription required to get value. Tracked in #31.
- No-code workflows via n8n — hosted n8n instance (
workflows.warblecloud.xyz) on Railway, giving non-engineering buyers and simple use cases a no-code on-ramp (e.g. "on alert → Slack notify") without needing the full Avirka/Frakma stack. Tracked in #32. - Longer-term: list Warble Cloud on AWS/Azure/GCP Marketplace to reduce procurement friction for enterprise buyers with committed cloud spend.
GTM: The Funnel by Persona
| Stage | CFO | CTO | CSO |
|---|---|---|---|
| Awareness | ROI calculator, cost benchmarks | OSS repo, CNCF presence | Published threat model, Apache 2.0 audit trail |
| Trial | Shadow-mode pilot (no cost commitment) | Staging cluster pilot | Air-gapped self-host eval |
| Convert | Warble Cloud (predictable Opex) | Design partnership → Phronix | Enterprise SLA + indemnification |
Sequencing
- OSS-first credibility — ship Avirka/Frakma publicly, file CNCF Sandbox (#29).
- warblecloud.xyz marketplace live — marketplace site (#30), pay-as-you-go advisory + playbooks (#31), n8n no-code workflows (#32).
- Cloud marketplace listings — reduce procurement friction for Warble Cloud once there's pull demand.
- Enterprise upsell — Phronix and SLA-backed contracts for CSO/compliance-driven buyers.
